Job Description
The Heavy Equipment Sales Territory Manager - Sales & Consignment will work to build a Heavy Construction Equipment Sales team and will be proactive in completing sales activities to represent, market and sell our products and services to new and existing clients. You will be responsible for consigning and selling assets directly related to Heavy Machinery. Candidate must have proven top sales performance track record.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and foster relationships with Construction, Oilfield, Mining, Agriculture, and Trucking, as well as, auction clients to successfully monitor inventory, collaborate on strategic projects, and positively represent Global Wholesale Machinery’s assets to maximize returns and focus on customer experience.
Provide oversight to inventory management where needed and partner between Marketing, Sales Team, and internal business partners to ensure priorities are met.
Prioritize email and work to ensure internal and external business needs are met.
Requirements:
High School Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree Preferred)
Minimum 3 years of sales & or consignment experience in Heavy Duty Equipment is required or proven top sales performance track record.
Must have strong problem-solving, business judgment, and decision-making skills.
Must be organized with the ability to multi-task with good time management skills.
Excellent and professional oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn and adapt to programs and apps.
Strong organizational planning, execution, and proven analytical skills (ability to think through and problem solve) required.
Ability to work under pressure, using tact, discretion, and good judgment to respond to all requests professionally and courteously.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Legally eligible to work in Canada.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of the sales process and proven decision-making abilities.
Prior experience representing and selling industry leading high-value, high tech construction and earthmoving machinery, is considered an asset.
Experience collaborating with other departments, for example construction equipment service, repair and parts operations.
Ability to develop, maintain and manage strong customer relationships.
Strong negotiation skills and high level of customer focus.
Ability to function efficiently in a team-orientated, collaborative work environment.
Results driven.
Excellent presentation and communications skills.
Training, Education and Experience:
Post-secondary education in a related discipline will be an asset.
High school diploma.
Candidates must meet all applicable insurance requirements, including possessing a valid driver’s license, maintaining a satisfactory driving record, and demonstrating verifiable experience operating vehicles of similar capacity.

Working Conditions: The Sales Representative is based out of the Nisku office and works 40 hours on average per week Monday to Friday. Regular local travel and some out of province will be expected.
