Hi everyone! We’re looking to hire a reliable, detail-oriented independent contractor to help with small-batch tallow skincare production for our ranch-based business.
This role focuses on behind-the-scenes kitchen work only and is ideal for someone who enjoys precise, repeatable tasks and working independently on a flexible schedule.
What You’ll Be Doing
Render beef tallow using your own crockpot
Follow our provided recipes and step-by-step procedures
Pour finished product into jars and apply labels
Keep batches separated, clean, and organized
Return finished batches as scheduled
Pay is per batch.
Schedule is flexible — you choose when you complete batches during the week.
Position Details
Independent Contractor (1099)
Part-time, project-based
Local to Montgomery, AL preferred
Ongoing work available for the right person
Requirements
Your own crockpot
No inside pets in prep area
Hand or stand mixer
Measuring cups and spoons
Large fine-mesh metal strainer
Large stainless steel, glass, or ceramic mixing bowls
Clean, organized kitchen (preferably no indoor pets)
Reliable transportation
Comfortable following written instructions exactly
Able to work independently
Willing to sign a non-disclosure and non-compete agreement
This Role Is NOT
Retail sales
Farmers market work
Customer-facing
Brand or social media work
This is production-only contract work.
