Home Help – Permanent, Part Time

Tasmanian Health Service – Queenstown Community Health Centre

To be Tasmanian is to value quality over quantity. We create, preserve, and protect the unusual. With quiet confidence, with passion and perseverance, we pursue the extraordinary.

You could be a Home Help anywhere in the world. But working on the West Coast, you’ll understand the impact you make every day. It’s an exciting and rewarding place to work and you will make a valuable contribution to a small community while enjoying the lifestyle of a rugged and remote landscape. Our remoteness helps drive a culture of invention and human connection, which feels both old fashioned and… like the only future worth pursuing. Here you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to breath-taking coastlines, National Parks or award-winning fresh produce – all right on your doorstep. Whether you love mountain bike riding, bush walking or exploring history, the West Coast offers so many amazing experiences.

We are small enough in Tasmania for you to shape and influence your work and make a real difference every day. Yet we are big enough for you to feel part of something important, somewhere you can belong and be surrounded by diversity, innovation, and friendships. We’ll look after you from the very beginning, ensure you are fully inducted and welcomed into our team and culture.

The Department of Health are seeking suitably motivated applicants for the role of Home Help to work across the Tasmanian West Coast region.
