About the Role The position exists to utilise a range of materials and equipment to clean a range of surfaces in order to restore or maintain the building in a clean and hygienic condition.
This role requires a pro-active approach to safety and adherence to policy and procedures. About the Team/Service/Location We are a close-knit team of dedicated professionals who work cohesively together to maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring the hospital operates smoothly and provides the best care for our patients and staff. Key Responsibilities A Team player and able to work autonomously.An ability to work effectively in a demanding team environment.A positive attitude to go the extra mile to assist others.Shows initiative and a commitment to time management.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New Zealand Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
