About the Role
This role combines HR administration and day-to-day accounting support.
You will work closely with management and external accountants to ensure smooth payroll, staff management and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
HR Duties
Staff onboarding & offboarding
Preparing employment contracts and HR documentation
Maintaining employee records and compliance
Managing payroll preparation and coordination
Assisting with staff performance and internal HR matters
Accounts & Finance Duties
Accounts payable & supplier payments
Invoice processing and reconciliation
Payroll processing through Xero
Liaising with external accountants for BAS and reporting
General bookkeeping and financial record maintenance
Requirements
Must be fluent in English and Mandarin (Verbal & Written)
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Accounts roles
Strong working knowledge of Xero (essential)
Full payroll processing capability in Xero required
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Experience managing payroll
Knowledge of Australian employment regulations
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to handle confidential information
Strong communication skills
Experience in construction, solar or energy industry will be highly regarded.
Australian permanent residency or citizenship required
