Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant and Audit Staff located in Malad East. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, overseeing accounting processes, conducting internal and external audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Responsibilities also include managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing detailed financial reports, assisting in tax filings, and providing insights for financial planning and decision-making. Collaboration with the broader team on client requirements and improving financial processes is integral to this position.
Qualifications
• Strong accounting skills, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and management of accounts payable and receivable
• Experience in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and regulatory frameworks
• Proficiency in tax-related matters, including tax filings and understanding of taxation laws
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to provide actionable financial insights and recommendations
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with advanced knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
• Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Chartered Accountant qualification is preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for seamless collaboration with clients and internal teams
