Description:
• HR & People Advisor (Maternity Cover)
• Based: Whitechapel, London or home-based, within the UK
• Type: Full-time, part-time, flexible
• Initial 12-month contract.
• Eligibility: You must be eligible to work in the UK
• Responsible for assisting in the administration and coordination of Human Resources policies and procedures.
• Supporting on the full range of HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, and training and development.
• Ensuring effective application of all HR policies and overseeing all HR administration.
• Administering the employee’s full employment cycle (including job offer, contracts).
• Acting as the first point of contact for HR questions.
• Preparing the monthly Payroll Report.
• Co-ordinating the recruitment process: job offers, contracts, communications, etc.
• Supporting line managers in effectively managing performance.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in a similar role
• A ‘can do’ positive approach
• Enjoy working with fun and friendly professional people
• Want to support everyone to achieve their potential
• Level 3 CIPD or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of employment law and its ‘good practice’ application
• Experience of providing ‘generalist’ HR advice
