No two days are the same - your role will include a mix of operational HR, project work and people-focused support:
Building and analysing employee lifecycle feedback to help shape retention initiatives and support better people decisions
Assisting with regular and ad-hoc HR reporting
Drafting, reviewing and maintaining HR documentation such as policies, procedures and position descriptions
Supporting blue-collar and white-collar recruitment during peak periods
Providing advice and guidance to leaders on performance management, disciplinary and employee relations matters (with support and escalation where needed)
Assisting with immigration-related requirements, including visa coordination
Getting involved in ad-hoc HR projects and tasks that keep things interesting
About you
You’re organised, approachable and confident in a generalist HR role, and you enjoy being part of a collaborative team.
You’ll ideally bring:
Demonstrated experience in a HR generalist role
Strong attention to detail (you like things done properly)
Warm, professional communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
Confidence using Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms
Good time management and the ability to juggle competing priorities
A qualification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline (highly desirable)
Knowledge of employment-related immigration processes (desirable, not essential)
Willingness to occasionally travel to remote sites across Australia
Why you’ll love working with us
True part-time flexibility - we’ll work with you on hours and structure
A family-friendly, supportive environment where flexibility isn’t just talked about, it’s practiced
