Role Description
We are looking for an HR Analyst to join our team at a very exciting time in CoStar’s growth! The role will be part of the international HR Services team supporting the business in EMEA & APAC with additional future international expansion. The Senior HR Analyst will provide support for a wide range of HR services and programs to our employees across CoStar International.
Responsibilities
Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR policies and procedures across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions. Manage the HR Inbox and Ask HR ticket system, including timely responses. Train users on Workday system.
Collaborate with HR team members and our HR Technology Team to design, build, and optimize HR processes and workflows within the Workday system to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Document requirements, ensuring clarity and completeness, and identify downstream impacts. Advise on potential solutions.
Ensure that HRIS (Workday) system changes and enhancements meet quality standards before deployment. Problem-solve issues that arise during UAT. Maintain a backlog of requested systems enhancements.
Lead and support HR projects and change initiatives, from conception to implementation. Ensure smooth transitions and provide guidance to employees affected by changes.
Ensure HR data accuracy and completeness and maintain employee files and records in compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Identify improvement opportunities and conduct records audits.
Support International HR team with reporting requests. Familiarity with full suite of Workday reports. Support build and design of new reports when required. Ability to analyse and summarize data for trend analysis.
Liaising with payroll on country specific nuances and special payments. Owning data checks with payroll team.
Benefits administration – onboarding and offboarding employees, contract renewals across international locations, partner with US benefits team on annual enrolments and enhancements
Assist with processing HR transactions and requests, including pre-employment checks, onboarding requirements, new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, and changes to employee records. Manage HR letters related to lifecycle events. Organize travel for new starters training in America.
Escalate issues to the appropriate HR Business Partner or corresponding HR Centre of Excellence.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
CIPD qualification is a plus.
Prior experience in HR Operations or HR Shared Services.
Language skills desired, with conversational- to native-level proficiency in French, Spanish or German preferred.
Strong understanding of HR processes and data. Proven track record of driving process improvements to achieve operational excellence.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws across UK and EU countries.
Experience executing HR Operations across multiple legal entities and geographies, preferred.
Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Demonstrable experience with enterprise HR information systems and the systems development life cycle; experience with Workday preferred.
Excellent technical aptitude and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail. Ability to build relationships with employees, managers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Advanced knowledge of Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP.
