HR and HC Drivers

Northline are on the lookout for HR and HC Drivers to join our Alice Springs team. Ideally you will enjoy working in a small team, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong multi-tasking skills. We currently have a permanent full-time position available, Monday to Friday, commencing from approx. 6/7am.
As an experienced HR and HC Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of freight to Northline’s customers as well as loading and unloading a variety of freight.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurate and timely delivery of customer’s freight;
Ensure freight and deliveries match up and are consistent with current paperwork;
Constant communication with the depot (manager/supervisor);
Maintaining a truck log to align with current state legislation;
Operating a forklift;
Manual handling of freight and curtain gates.
As a successful candidate you will:
Hold a current and valid HR or HC Licence;
Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF)
Be physically fit to handle repetitive lifting of freight/opening and closing of curtains;
Transport industry experience with general freight carriers is highly regarded;
Experience working in physically demanding conditions and fast-paced environment;
An awareness of Load Restraint and Dangerous Goods will be highly regarded.
