The Role:
As an HR Business Partner, you will work closely with leaders and employees to deliver expert HR advice, drive key people initiatives, and ensure HR practices align with business goals. You will be a trusted advisor, providing strategic and operational HR support across areas such as employee relations, performance, engagement, workforce planning, and organisational development.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a strategic partner to leaders, providing guidance on people matters to support business objectives.
Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and positive workplace culture initiatives.
Provide expert advice on complex ER/IR matters, supporting fair and consistent processes.
Partner with managers on performance management, development planning, and succession initiatives.
Support the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and programs.
Analyse people data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Lead or contribute to HR projects
Coach and upskill leaders to strengthen people capability across the business.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in a HR Business Partner, HR Advisor, or similar role.
Strong understanding of NZ employment legislation and HR best practice.
Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels.
Sound judgment, problem-solving abilities, and a practical, solution-focused approach.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or related field (preferred).
