The role is located at Jenolan Caves, 3 hours from Sydney and 25 minutes from Oberon
Package includes salary ($120,85+ to $133,183) and employer's contribution to superannuation
Two Year contract period with potential to convert to Ongoing, full-time opportunity to work at a world heritage site at an idyllic location and play a pivotal role in the creation of life changing visitor experiences.


About the Role



Jenolan Caves has recently suffered from a number of natural events that are requiring major roadworks to restore access for the general public. These roadworks are expected to take up to 18 months to complete, during which time the visitor infrastructure and experiences will be completely refurbished. This role will be integral to the successful organisation design to deliver on the strategic objectives of one of Australia’s most iconic visitor economy attractions.

At Jenolan Caves, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner who will support leaders and employees in HR related matters and play a key in the delivery of the Jenolan Caves Strategic Plan.

In this role, you will deliver both operational and strategic HR advice and support across a range of areas such as change management, workforce planning, performance management, issue resolution, HR programs and policy. You will enjoy partnering closely with the senior leaders to consistently drive a sustainable and high-performance culture through the implementation of new initiatives that builds performance to support our people and business objectives.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly experienced HR Business Partner with a commitment and demonstrated expertise in delivering collaborative, consultative and person centric HR advisory and support services. Your exceptional communication skills to provide expert advice and guidance will be instrumental to this role as will your ‘can-do’ approach and strong stakeholder management skills to build and maintain collaborative and strategic relationships.

Experience conducting change management activities within the NSW Public Sector is also highly desirable.



Essential Requirements

High level knowledge of human resources legislation, policies, practices and strategies.
Experience in implementing client focused human resource strategies, programs and services.
Demonstrated experience in the use of human resources management information systems (HRMIS).

The Jenolan Caves Reserve Trust is a division within Environment, Industry and Science, responsible for the care, control & management of the Jenolan Visitor Use and Services Zone. This is regarded as being both environmentally and culturally significant. The Visitor Use and Services Zone includes, but is not restricted to, Caves House, retail areas, kitchen areas, front office, staff and guest accommodation, walking tracks, maintenance areas and the Caves System.
