Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join our Construction HR Team Our trusted partner will work across our entire employee lifecycle covering the London and Thames Valley region. The role will work alongside our Head of HR to manage and implement a commercially focused people plan across the business area.
Location: Flexible, with the nearest reporting office Cavendish Place, London
Contract: Permanent, full-time – flexible and part-time hours is available if required.
Responsibilities
As a HR Business Partner, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Working with senior leaders across your area to influence the people agenda within the business unit, considering commercial impact of decisions, identifying and advising on risks, pragmatic solutions and improved business performance.
• Responsible for supporting in the development of the regional people priorities (from the Group and Business Stream plans) and the delivery of People Performance Excellence and the HR functional plan.
• Working collaboratively with our Resourcing and Senior Management Team to implement a future focused talent strategy.
• Coaching and developing senior leaders, providing a critical voice that balances support and challenge and encourages development across the area.
• Championing our social value agenda to align with our social sustainability framework and influencing senior leaders to create an inclusive culture that embraces diversity.
What are we looking for?
This role of HR Business Partner is great for you if you have:
• Proven experience of delivering people initiatives within a complex business environment.
• Previous exposure within Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing and a passion for social value engagement in creating work opportunities.
• Experience of supporting and managing organisational change, challenging thinking concepts and demonstrable experience of driving talent management and succession planning strategies.
• Effective stakeholder management abilities to influence across all levels and coach leaders around performance improvements.
• Previous experience coaching leaders and managers to improve performance.
• An interest and passion for social value and how we create opportunities to support everyone find a route to work.
