Job Description
People Reporting Data Analysts drive the transformation of the People and Culture (P&C) organization into a data-driven and insight-led culture. They will enable business leaders and the People Team to make high-quality decisions about the workforce, incorporating internal metrics and external market factors, with the goal of enabling Zscaler’s exponential growth.
The data analysts will work with P&C leaders, as well as Finance, IT, and business leaders, to develop the people, processes, and technology that accommodates requests for insights and data. These requests can be adhoc, recurring, or self-initiated research projects that altogether enable us to invent and execute programs to ensure Zscalers can do their best work. The most high-performing data analysts are ones who can not only develop reporting quickly, but are able to generate and present insights and intelligence.
Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver a regular cadence of operating metrics related to all people related activities from hiring to progression and retention
• Provide ad-hoc data requests to internal business customers
• Oversee data requests via ServiceNow
• Design and Pull Reports from SAP SuccessFactors
• Design and deliver solutions that enable self-service reporting for managers and employees
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience as a HR or business analyst
• Experience in HR related reporting such as talent management, attrition and workforce planning
• Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
• Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
• Ability to use BI tools (Tableau, Power BI etc.), Microsoft Excel/G-Suite to create pivot tables, graphs and charts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
• Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
• Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
• General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
