HR Driver

We are looking for an experienced HR Licenced LPG & CO2 Tanker / Cylinder Truck Driver / who is available to operate out of our Darwin, NT branch. You will be responsible for deliveries to both domestic and commercial sites across Metropolitan and Regional Darwin as well as work within the operations site as required. You will be working on a full-time permanent basis - Monday to Friday. In addition, we will provide in-depth training and support, giving you the confidence to know that all the hard work you put in is backed up by a world class organisation.
What you will enjoy doing
Operate our 12 Tonne Truck in compliance with BOC standards, regulations and policy
Complete daily and weekly inspections to ensure vehicle is always fit for service, clean and presentable, with all documentation and safety equipment up to date and in test.
Timely delivery of paperwork and active co-operation with stakeholders
Cooperation with branch staff in servicing customers, completion of work, flexibility of responding to demand, and, contributing to a positive workplace environment
Reporting of compliance issues / OOD cylinders and, conducting checks where required
Ensuring all incidents are reported to the Branch Manager
Be safety conscious and abide by all regulations associated with the position
Liaising with customers in a professional manner at all times
What makes you great
Driving experience operating a Heavy Rigid (HR) Vehicle with clear driving history
Dangerous good handling certificate
Experience in a retail sales environment will be highly advantageous
Strong focus on customer service
Excellent time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Industrial and safety equipment knowledge would be beneficial
Forklift Licence will be highly regarded
