Job Description
Manual Loading and Unloading: Ensuring that weight is distributed evenly and secured to prevent incidents and damages during transit
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations and manage their speed accordingly
Communication: Maintain clear communication with management
Compliance: Truck Driver MUST comply with all federal and state regulations. This includes adhering to NHVR regulations
Ability to use a Work Diary accurately
About You
Along with your strong work ethic we expect that you’ll have:
A valid NSW HR Licence – at least over a year
Be able to demonstrate previous heavy vehicle driving experience
Be strong, fit & healthy as there is manual handling involved
Be able to reverse truck into retail shops for multi drops safely
Other skills that would be favourable:
Sound geographic knowledge of Sydney metro and Regional NSW.
Flexible with start times depending on shift.
Be self motivated.
Excellent customer service skills.
WHS Awareness.
Have Basic Fatigue Management or willing to obtain
