About the Role
We are recruiting for a HR Generalist to join our corporate team on a 6 month fixed term contract. This is a unique opportunity to take part in this scale project for a Remediation program.
This role will utilise your experience and knowledge of workplace legislations and business partnering skills by finalising our obligations to close out regulatory and audit exposure through these remediation tasks.
This is a dynamic role where your mix of HR and payroll understanding will see you managing the correspondence with former employees, managing payment details, responding to queries, and managing unclaimed monies processes in line with Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO) expectations.
To be considered for this opportunity you must have:
Prior experience in working in an HR department with generalist experience
Exposure and understanding of performance management & grievances
Ability to interpret and apply enterprise agreements
Demonstrated experience in working with payroll (is desirable but not mandatory) and understanding of fair work practices
Have had experience or exposure to working with employee data or payroll remediation issues and company compliance
Proficient in using payroll and HR software, or similar systems
Relevant qualifications in HR / Employment Relations / Business or equivalent
