Job Description
Job Specific Duties
Assist in the creation and delivery of training programs for employees.
Schedule and coordinate training sessions and events.
Communicate with trainers and trainees to ensure a successful training experience.
Set up and maintain training materials and equipment.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness.
Provide support in the development of training materials and presentations (dress code & workplace violence & harassment).
Assist in the design and implementation of online training programs.
Assist employees and new hires with Single Sign On (SSO) and HSI enrolment.
By the end of the internship, this position should have the following completed:
SSO/ADP/HSI enrolment.
All employees should have completed their virtual training via HSI including the US and Canada.
Develop training deck for dress code and workplace violence & harassment, record presentation and roll out via HSI.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a recognized post secondary institution in Human Resources or recent graduate.
A very high degree of confidentiality with regards to all employee and company-related matters.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills, reading, writing, listening and oral communication.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Team player with a high level of dedication.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment, some independent work.
Ability to maintain respectful relationships at all levels within and outside the organization.
Good working knowledge of computers and MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
A valid driver’s license and use of personal vehicle are required.
Working Conditions
Office setting - walking, sitting, and standing throughout the day.
Works Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm).
Required to visit locations that require walking/standing that may be in a cold warehouse or hot greenhouse setting.
Travel and personal use of vehicle required to visit all local facilities.
