Job Summary:
Samarth Jewellery Limited is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team at our Ahmedabad Head Office. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions and to develop skills in recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Selection:
- Assist in posting job openings on various job boards and social media platforms.
- Screen resumes and applications to shortlist potential candidates.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
- Participate in the interview process and provide feedback.
- Onboarding and Orientation:
- Assist in preparing onboarding materials and documentation for new hires.
- Coordinate and conduct orientation sessions for new employees.
- Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Employee Relations:
- Support HR team in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
- Assist in addressing employee queries and concerns.
- Help maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Assist in preparing HR reports and presentations.
- Help with general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and document management.
- Learning and Development:
- Assist in coordinating training sessions and workshops.
- Track and record employee training and development activities.
- Compliance and Policies:
- Assist in ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed.
- Help with compliance-related tasks, such as maintaining employee records and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Working Conditions:
- Internship position with flexible working hours.
- Primarily indoor office environment at the Ahmedabad HO.
