Job Description
We are seeking a true HR generalist to partner closely with operational leaders and the broader People team to drive initiatives, build capability, and deliver meaningful outcomes across the employee experience.
As a member of the regional leadership team, you’ll proactively build relationships and empower managers to lead confidently, ensuring that Costa thrives across People, Product, and Community.
Key aspects of the role include:
Partner with site leaders to implement HR strategies, initiatives, and systems
Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance, and industrial matters
Lead annual performance, talent and succession planning cycles
Manage regional recruitment and deliver exceptional onboarding experiences
Provide guidance on policies, legislation, awards, agreements, and compliance
Oversee regional labour compliance, agreement making, and industrial relations
Support WHS initiatives and contribute to audits (e.g. Modern Slavery, Fair Work, PALM scheme)
Facilitate team culture and engagement activities
About You:
Tertiary qualifications or substantive and demonstrable related experience in HR function
Demonstrated ability to provide expertise, coaching and advice across a wide variety of HR matters
Working knowledge of legislation
Strong customer focus and ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the business
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
