The Position:
We are seeking a full-time HR Manager. This position will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and programs designed to attract, develop, and retain top talent. This role also contributes to the design and execution of organizational strategies related to benefits, compensation, and the Center’s policies and procedures.
What You’ll Do
Lead and manage the Human Resources team, aligning HR functions with organizational goals and priorities
Develop and execute HR strategies that support overall business objectives
Oversee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding to ensure high-quality talent acquisition
Drive talent management, succession planning, and employee development initiatives
Enhance onboarding and orientation programs to deliver a consistent, positive new hire experience
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook to mitigate risk
Support employee relations by resolving conflicts, promoting engagement, and fostering a positive workplace culture
Implement and support performance management processes, including evaluations and manager coaching
Oversee HR systems, metrics, compensation support, and specialized programs (e.g., loan repayment) to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and effective reporting
Fulltime: Monday - Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week
Starting Salary: $90,000 - $115,000
Qualifications
Minimum 5-7 years of Human Resources experience, including at least 2-3 years as a generalist in a leadership role. HR certificate preferred.
Must have strong knowledge of employment laws.
Must have excellent leadership and communication skills.
Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Must be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels.
Must demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and continually look for ways to improve and promote quality within the department.
Must be enthusiastically committed to the overall well-being of the department and the objectives of the Center, including role modeling the Center's Workplace Culture.
Must continuously have a clean driving record in order to be insurable under the Center's automobile insurance policy.
Proficiency in MS Office products and HCM systems. UKG experience a plus.
HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or PHR-CA) preferred.
