Turbocharging is a successful and profitable Division in a mature market and has been for long a highly self-reliant business within ABB
ABB has decided to take this step, acknowledging that for Turbocharging to realize its full potential going forward, a new setup is required
As the next step, alternative ownership options, including a spin-off to the Swiss stock market, will be assessed, considering value for customers, ABB and the future of the turbocharging business.After the divestment of ABB Turbocharging the newly established Department HR Operations is responsible for the day to day HR activities in close liaison with vendors, Line Managers and the HR Departments all over the world
You are responsible to ensure that all activities related to the Employee Lice Cycle are executed accurately, on time and according to defined standards and deliver a state of the art service for the entire company in all HR related matters
Your responsibilitiesEmployee Life Cycle: Manage the entire Employee Life Cycle for a population of around 100 employees in various locations in the United States in close collaboration with the HR local Team
Manage interface to an external vendor from a payroll point of view, resulting in correct settlement for our employees
Support onboarding / offboarding events
Cover local administration such as references, confirmations, training documentation, work permits, contract extension
Support on execution of the annual HR processesMasterdata / Org.Management: Monitors HR data quality and integrity (GDPR) in the Business and ensure appropriate governance.Maintaining Master and Meta Data: Ensure alignment with overall HR Model across the business to agreed standards and targets.Support of Employees and Managers: Assist Employees and Managers in all HR Lice Cycle related matters but leverage digitization with ESS / MSS solutions
Ensure collaboration with HR Departments around the globe (strong focus on Switzerland)
Work with controlling to ensure transparency of HR cost base and HR-driven costs (learning, external Talent Acquisition search.)HR Team: Ensure collaboration with HR Departments around the globe (strong focus on Switzerland), ensure that excellent HR Services are provided to our employees and customers
Play a part in further optimization of the HR footprint in our newly created set-upHR IS: Being part of our journey to implement Workday as our HR core system and contribute to smooth transition and implementationYour backgroundBachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration or in Human Resources (HR) management Professional background in HR with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role in HRGood level of knowledge in local rules and regulations in HR disciplines (e.g
employment law, social security, etc.)Connected thinking, strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as a methodical and result-oriented approachStructured and efficient way of working and ability to prioritize and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentExperience and good level of knowledge in Workday and/or another HR Mastersystem is a strong plusProficiency in usage of all kinds of MS Office products (Excel, Power Point, Word, Teams, OneNote, etc.)Proficiency in local language and English is a must
