Roles and Responsibilities:
Compliance Management
- Assist in the preparation and submission of attendance records, salary processing, and related statutory returns, including PF, ESIC, and LWF.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly ESIC and PF Challans.
- Handle the Universal Account Number (UAN) formalities for employees, ensuring that all necessary updates and corrections are processed.
- Maintain compliance documents related to the Contract Labour Act and Payment of wages Act.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including filing of Contract Labour Act returns and obtaining sub-codes for PF and ESIC.
- Manage the timely submission of PF, ESIC, and LWF returns.
Regulatory Liaison
- Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies concerning labour laws and compliance.
- Prepare the company for audits, inspections, and reviews by regulatory bodies.
Training & Development
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on compliance-related topics, ensuring all employees are aware of their legal obligations and the company's compliance policies.
- Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behavior within the organization.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on changes in relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Monitor and recommend improvements to ensure ongoing compliance and efficient processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on compliance and statutory reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of the Contract Labour Act 1+70, Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESIC), and other labour laws.
- Hands-on experience with payroll processing, statutory returns, and dealing with government bodies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
