What does this team do?
The award-winning HR team at Deloitte is integral to our firm's success, focusing on attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional talent. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of our first HR graduate scheme. We deliver strategic solutions that align with our business objectives, cultivate an inclusive culture, and enhance the overall employee experience. Our teams span a broad range of HR specialisms, including Talent Acquisition, Reward, Learning & Development, HR Business Partnering, and HR Operations. As a graduate in HR, you will work with people across our business, learning from different teams and have the chance to build an exciting people-focused career that really makes a difference.
What skills and academic qualifications do I need?
You’ll need to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum 2:1 in any degree discipline and have graduated by September 2026 for the Autumn 2026 intake, with a start date on September 3rd 2026.
What kind of work will I do?
When joining the HR Graduate Scheme, you will become part of a 3 year rotational scheme, working alongside our diverse teams of HR professionals. This structured approach allows you to build a comprehensive understanding of the HR function as a whole, develop key skills and experience aligned with your professional qualification, and network across the team.
Dependent on your rotations, you may be involved in:
Strategic HR projects, learning project management principles to ensure efficient delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
Employee relations matters and supporting the consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
Talent acquisition activities, including candidate attraction, selection, and onboarding processes.
HR Business Partnering, providing advice and support to leaders on employee matters and performance management.
Supporting the Learning and Talent team, contributing to the growth and skills development of our people.
Work on the reward approach and award-winning benefits offering.
Data analysis and reporting to inform HR decision-making and measure the effectiveness of people strategies.
Where will I work?
At Deloitte, we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. Please note your final assessment and induction will also be in-person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships.
All our workspaces are accessible; however, if you require further flexibility due to a health condition or caring responsibilities, please discuss this with our team. You can find further information on our parent and carer policies here.
How will I develop?
In your first year, you will commence studying towards the CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma in People Management, allowing you to develop advanced knowledge and skills in strategic HR.
You'll begin with a comprehensive induction programme, equipping you with the skills and confidence to work effectively within our HR teams. Ongoing professional development will be provided through your team, dedicated mentoring, and a buddy system.
In this programme, you will also:
Be joining a diverse, global team of inspiring and like-minded colleagues with a strong spirit of collaboration.
Be engaging in a highly professional environment that encourages the development of your talents.
Benefit from a culture of knowledge sharing and training, fostering continuous learning and growth.
