Purpose and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive HR Specialist to work with the business to drive growth strategies and agenda by delivering high-quality, value-added HR services and expertise. In this true generalist and partnering role, you will work closely with leaders and employees to provide expert guidance on employment and industrial relations matters, ensuring alignment with current legislation, company policies, and best practice workplace management.

Key responsibilities include advising on complex industrial and employment matters, supporting the resolution of industrial issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives aimed at attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent. You will also contribute to the delivery of strategic HR support to the business

Some the key responsibilities are:

Drive HR as a strategic business partner: Provide proactive, hands-on HR support and expert advice to leaders and teams, enabling effective people management practices that align with business goals and legal requirements.
Lead by example and hands-on: Be able to guide leaders on processes and procedures to ensure compliance and governance.
Lead employment & industrial relations excellence: Be the go-to expert in employment relations, interpreting Awards, negotiating Enterprise Agreements, managing complex workplace issues, and partnering with leadership to resolve disputes swiftly and strategically.
Champion performance and leadership development: Empower managers to deliver high-impact performance management, foster leadership growth, and build a resilient, high-performing workforce that fuels business success.
Support talent acquisition and onboarding: Support recruitment and onboarding efforts with a focus on attracting and integrating top talent, setting them up for long-term success in alignment with strategic workforce plans.
Deliver strategic HR projects: Partner with HR leadership to plan and execute key initiatives that boost employee engagement, operational efficiency, and organisational agility.
Leverage HR analytics for business impact: Track and analyse critical HR metrics, delivering actionable insights and reports that inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Social Science or a related field (desirable)
Strong experience as an HR business partner
Strong experience in industrial relations and Enterprise Bargaining
Strong experience in workplace investigations
Experience in change management and establishing policies, procedures and processes
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with excellent Excel skills.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Effective communication abilities for collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Please note that this role is based at our head office in Mascot, NSW. There is an ability to work from home one day a week.
