Founded in 1+6+, and 3 generations old, Society Stores is one of Mumbai’s first convenience
stores that offers its customers an international shopping experience. The store sources a
wide range of Food and FMCG products from around the world, making it a one-stop-shop
for the daily needs of an urban Indian home.
B. JOB SUMMARY:
The role’s core functions are:
- Planning, organizing & controlling the activities & actions of the HR Department.
- Developing & implementing HR Policies, Processes & best practices.
- Recruiting people with the right skill sets for the appropriate positions.
- Train, motivate & increase employee engagement with the company.
C. KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic
1) Implementing steps of Organization Building Process.
2) Creating & revising Organization Chart, JDs, Compensation Program (salaries – fixed & variable, incentives, increments, etc.).
3) Defining KPIs & KRAs for each position.
4) Creating & implementing SOPs for HR Department.
5) Develop & implement employee retention policies.
6) Impact employee productivity across organization through human transformation – motivate, bring out their potential, counsel them on their problems.
Implementation
1) Recruitment of people with right skill-sets for the right positions.
2) Organizing Induction & other training programs.
3) Conducting employee appraisal every quarter.
4) Conduct skill gap & performance gap analysis every 6 months.
5) Re-train basis skill gaps & performance gaps found.
6) Conducting exit interviews.
Managerial
1) Develop & train HR & Admin staff.

E. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 3 years of relevant experience, preferable but not mandatory, in Indian Supermarket Industry.

Well versed with English, Hindi and any one Indian language
