Your profile
• Commercial, Finance, Accountingor BA degree from reputable University or college
• Several years of experience withthe commercial background ideally from similar organization
• Solid Analytical skills withAccounting background, Chartered Accountant preferred
• Excellent communication skills,Fluent in English language preferably in a regional function
• SAP working experience is a Mustrequirement. Working level knowledge of ESPRIT is important
• Experience of working in trulymulticultural working environment
• Siemens Energy reportingprocess-e.g. ESPRIT as well as Financial Reporting Guidelines
Your Responsibilities
• You are the effective BusinessPartner for the assigned Country(ies) to ensure timely and accurate month/quarter end closing and reporting. Also responsible for handling accountingqueries of the assigned country(ies)
• Responsible for accountingfunction/ transactions and to ensure that general accounting processes andfunction is in adherence to Siemens Energy Financial Reporting Guidelines(SFRG)
• Ensure transactions are recordedin conformance to and in line with Siemens Energy International Chart ofAccounts
• Monitor and manage key BalanceSheet positions for assigned MEA entities; e.g. Unallocated AR, Advances toSuppliers, Retention, Advances from Customer and Retention - Drive BalanceSheet Review process for assigned country Divisions independently and provideremediation and solution
• Responsible for resolvingreporting and closing queries qualitatively and develop controls to avoidrepeated issues
• Support quarterly and yearlyexternal audit process by providing timely information and resolve queries fromauditor qualitatively (if applicable for the assigned country)
• Ensure month end closing processis executed smoothly in coordination with Service Hub and ESPRIT reporting isdone with high quality and as per defined timelines
• Ensure timely and qualitativereporting of Financial Disclosures; e.g. ADSTAR,
• A trusted Business Partner forDivisions -focusing on guiding on complex accounting topics, remediate issuestimely and effective monitoring of topics
• Contribute to process improvementinitiatives and to drive successful implementation of the initiatives
• Be ‘digital-ready’. Imbibedigital ways of working and contribute to our vision to Simplify
