Position: Sales Executive
Department: Sales & Marketing
Location: Assigned Territory / Region
1. Job Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling cement products in the assigned territory. The role includes developing dealer and distributor networks, maintaining strong relationships with retailers and contractors, achieving sales targets, and expanding market presence.
2. Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell Ramco cement products to dealers, retailers, and construction contractors.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets in the assigned territory.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and builders.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the dealer network.
Conduct regular market visits to monitor demand, competitor activity, and pricing.
Coordinate with distributors to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
Support marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and product demonstrations.
Collect market feedback and share reports with the sales manager.
Ensure timely payment collection from dealers and customers.
3. Required Skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Good relationship management with dealers and customers
Knowledge of construction materials / cement industry (preferred)
Ability to achieve sales targets
Market analysis and reporting skills
4. Qualification
Any Graduate / MBA in Marketing or Sales preferred.
5. Experience
1 – 5 years of experience in cement, building materials, or construction sales.
Experience in dealer or distributor sales will be an added advantage.
6. Working Conditions
Field sales role involving extensive travel within the assigned territory.
Regular visits to dealers, distributors, construction sites, and retailers.
7. Salary (Typical Range)
₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month (depending on experience)
Additional TA/DA, incentives, and performance bonuses.
