Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and communicate a clear mission and values statement to align employees on a common purpose and direction.
2. Foster open communication across all levels of the organization to ensure employees feel heard and valued. Provide multiple channels for feedback and ensure leaders are approachable.
3. Support employee well-being by offering flexible work arrangements and resources for mental health and wellness and setting realistic expectations for workload and deadlines.
4. Invest in employee growth through training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
5. An integral aspect of the HR manager's role is to establish and maintain a robust Performance Management System (PMS) that involves consistently tracking Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on a monthly or quarterly basis, enabling effective measurement of employee performance and identification of areas for improvement.
6. Foster a culture of inclusion by celebrating diversity, promoting equity and fairness, and creating employee resource groups.
7. Regularly recognize and reward employees for their contributions through formal and informal recognition.
8. Model positive behaviors and values, and hold leaders are accountable for promoting a positive workplace culture.

10. Ensure HR strategies are focused on supporting the organization's financial goals.
11. Identify high-performing employees and provide opportunities for training and development to increase productivity.
12. Analyse current, and future staffing needs to ensure the right people are in the right roles, leading to increased productivity and profitability.
13. Minimize hiring costs and reduce turnover rates to save money and increase revenue.
14. Offer opportunities for employees to acquire new skills and increase productivity, leading to improved financial results.
15. Promote a positive workplace culture by recognizing employee contributions, providing opportunities for career advancement, and promoting work-life balance to increase employee engagement and retention rates.
16. Ensure employee benefits and compensation programs are cost-effective and aligned with the organization's financial goals.
17. Organize regular meetings to discuss recruitment and talent acquisition, employee retention and development, compensation and benefits, compliance and regulatory issues, employee relations, succession planning, health and safety, HR technology, and employer branding.
18. An important responsibility for an HR manager is to conduct monthly employee review meetings in the presence of the leadership team, demonstrating proficiency in delivering performance feedback to employees and effectively communicating the outcomes of these reviews to top-level management.
