Regional HRBP Roles & Responsibilities
The Role
• Opportunity to regional exposure. This role is based in India supporting the APJ region including Australia, Singapore, China and India.
• Working as part of our global HR department, you are responsible for all things HR within the employee lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding, development and support to offboarding and termination.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure Transmission’ culture is embodied through the entire employee lifecycle, from recruiting to offboarding across all of the offices in the region.
• Collaborate with the global HR Disciplines to drive development, culture, diversity and inclusion programs.
• Oversee and implement our compensation and benefits programs. You will maintain the benefits we already have as well as implement new incentives for employees to make us more competitive in the industry. You will also maintain the relationships with external benefit vendors.
• Partner across operating companies as we integrate and proactively share resources with other HRBPs.
Manager/Employee Support
• Act as an all-round point of contact, handling or escalating incoming requests from mid-level management.
• Conduct ongoing feedback loops for employee engagement, performance and development opportunities.
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, at times working with outside counsel.
• Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations reducing legal risks while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Effectively manage immigration cases.
Compliance
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws. Research requirements where we have a presence and communicate findings to leadership
• You will be the primary go-to, for implementing internal changes on all employee matters in contracts, benefits, compliance, etc.
People Team Initiatives
• Provide support for a variety of special initiatives at the direction of HR Leadership. The nature and scope of the initiatives will vary considerably depending on organizational needs.
• Special initiatives will often be identified and proposed by you and other HR Business Partners. When an opportunity to strengthen operational efficiency, improve the employee experience and/or increase organizational effectiveness, you will take the initiative and consult with members of the team.
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in an HR function or equivalent degree and experience
• Comprehensive experience of all HR elements involved the employee lifecycle from recruitment to end of employment.
• History of developing effective relationships across all levels within organizations and with diverse groups.
• Adept problem solver with a high level of initiative and sense of personal accountability.
• Committed to highest ethical standards, data integrity, established process, documentation, and to continuous learning.
• Proven organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize
