Seven to ten years of prior HR experience as a generalist or manager in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of employment law, OSHA guidelines, and recruiting principles
Proficiency in HRIS, MS Word, and Excel
Responsibilities
As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will oversee HR and employee relations programs across multiple domestic facilities within a specified geographic area
This role requires the management of existing programs in line with established policies and procedures Working with the Global Safety Director for OSHA compliance and employee safety is essential
You will manage HR activities such as recruitment, new hire systems entry, onboarding, training, and employee relations programs, including ethics and harassment investigations
This role also involves managing the company-wide background check process
Handle employee relations, including addressing complaints, assisting leaders with verbal warnings, coaching, counseling, and providing guidance on employee suspensions
Ensure timely completion of performance reviews by managers
Recruit for professional and administrative positions through the ADP Recruiting platform and third-party agencies, and assist with hourly recruiting via temp agencies as needed
Schedule interviews, submit background checks, assist with offers, and handle pre-hire/new hire paperwork, new hire entry, and time clock setup
Review and approve background checks company-wide, escalating to VP, HR for exceptions
Manage the first report of injury, OSHA regulations, and safety at site locations
