Vihara is a social impact oriented organization dedicated to delivering change in the Global Health space. Over the last two decades we have done meaningful work on some of the most pressing challenges in Public Health including COVID Vaccination, Routine Immunization, Gender Equity, Family Planning, and Maternal & Child health. Vihara works along the complete cycle of innovation - from using ethnographic research to gather behavioral insights, designing innovative solutions to address complex systemic challenges and working with relevant partners to create implementation pathways for uptake of innovations. Designation: Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Hybrid / Delhi

Overall Business Success
Share accountability for the achievement of both topline and bottomline through the efforts of a well designed and well functioning team which is also working effectively and efficiently
Own the wage bill and take responsibility for its optimization in dialogue with CEO, COO and CEO.
Seek out opportunities for optimization of wage bill by
1. Hiring the right people,
2. Upskilling them constantly and
3. Reallocating them to different teams in optimal ways.
Co-own the design of the organogram for the entire organization and refresh it from time to time to ensure optimal effectiveness.

HR Team Leadership

Supervise, coach and support an HRM and HR Associate to ensure that they are able to recruit, track and retain organizational talent effectively.
Set expectations, delegate tasks to team members and establish a rhythm of business and a routine agenda for internal meetings and larger organizational discussions on HR topics
Review HR Team performance periodically and provide feedback and growth opportunities for them to improve their performance over time.
Work with peers in the Business Development, Admin-Finance and Consulting Teams and help them establish work higiene with their subordinates in order to achieve optimal individual/team performance.
Ensure entire HR team has rich granular knowledge of what the consulting team does and how to best capture that knowledge in job postings, JDs and other HR Team collaterals and content.

HR Excellence

Serve as the ultimate owner for all employee data by ensuring timely updates, availability & accuracy of employee data in the HR systems.
Work closely with the Finance & Accounts teams to ensure recurring processes viz., payroll, employee salary inputs, exits, etc are provided on time with 100% accuracy.
Serve as a senior face of the organization to the employees. Along with the HRM and the HR Associate, respond on HR specific challenges such as day-day queries, grievances and ensure that they are resolved swiftly
Ensure maintenance of proper compliance records (POSH, labour law adherence, adverse incident reports, etc) & its seamless execution as stipulated
Ensure all policies and processes are updated and the HRMS platform is used effectively by the HR team and Employees

Employee Lifecycle Management

Facilitate and support business change and performance across supported groups through the implementation of an effective people strategy
Work closely with recruitment team members to come up with hiring strategies for respective BUs. Ensure JDs, Competency frameworks for respective BUs are available and up-to-date by working with the respective manager. Anchor recruitments with proper hiring processes in place ( interviews, debriefs, etc.,).
Design and implement a structured induction program for newcomers along with other key stakeholders in the organization
Work closely with the business leaders to plan and finalize workforce planning, org structures, reporting relationships for the BU along with respective VH
Own the annual compensation planning and execution for all team members
Assist with retention strategies for key talent. Support the development of employees through the execution of succession planning and talent review
