Job Summary
Provides administrative and clerical support in all areas of HR and Recruiting
Creates/posts open jobs, schedules interviews, and records results utilizing on-line ATS
Maintains all areas of DOL Registered Electrical Apprenticeship Training program
Completes data-entry set-up of personnel actions for management approval
Monitors and tracks Trade License renewals and expirations
Participates in promotion and explanation of new/existing employee benefits
Assists in onboarding and processing of new hires
Responds in timely manner to all internal/external inquiries
Assists in special projects including local external recruiting events as needed
Qualifications
1 to 2 years recent HR administration experience, preferred, or related administration experience
Proficient computer and organization skills and MS Office (Excel, Word) knowledge
Hands-on, self-starter with ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities
Excellent oral/written communication skills
Flexible, organized, and able to work under time constraints and deadlines
Strong team player with ability to collaborate and build effective working relationships
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all communications pertaining to employees and HR data.
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, drug test, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
