Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as a key partner in managing human capital processes, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting organizational growth through effective talent management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in human resources management, with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to employee relations and HR operations.
Responsibilities
Oversee full-cycle talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees using our various CRM systems.
Administer employee benefits programs and manage benefits administration tasks utilizing Payworks.
Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, Alberta regulations, and workers' compensation policies through diligent data collection and policy updates.
Support employee orientation, evaluation, training & development initiatives to foster professional growth and engagement.
Manage employee relations issues with tact and professionalism, facilitating conflict management and resolution strategies.
Assist in organizational design and change management efforts aligned with strategic planning objectives.
Maintain accurate HR data entry records while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity across systems.
Experience
Proven experience in human resources management within a fast-paced organizational environment.
Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR sourcing strategies.
Knowledge of Alberta employment & labor law compliance standards.
Experience with project management related to HR initiatives like succession planning or organization design is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills combined with administrative experience in handling contracts, data entry, and social media management related to employer branding efforts.
