Job description, work day and responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and progressive HR Generalist who is capable of supporting a technical HR support function. The HR Generalist role will be responsible for full HR support to our staff and provide and identify key human resource strategies, HR analysis and support, and provide consistent HR leadership to the organization’s programs, and employees.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Support for all Human Resources functions including areas of: Performance Management, Employee Relations, Training, HR Communications
Delivering HR support to on-site and remote employees
Team with HR Leadership to develop best-in-class policies and procedures
Ensure all HR Regulatory and Compliance is met and develop communication and strategies to meet the need of the business when state and Federal Laws are amended, changed, or introduced
Maintain appropriate records, create and maintain tracking reports
Manage and maintain accurate and concise records and reports in HRIS
Assist with tracking employee benefits
Assist with management of tracking FMLA, LWOP, Short-Term and Long-term Disability benefits
Performance of other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in Human Resources. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Must have experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access)
Strong communication skills are required
Preference given to candidate with ADP Workforce Now experience
Certifications
HR related certifications or desire to obtain are a plus
Security Clearance

Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)
This is a hybrid telework role
Limited travel to managed sites or HR events may be required from time to time
Salary Range: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
The posted range is appropriate for a typical candidate meeting, at a minimum, all the core requirements of the position.
