Job Role: HR Lead

Location: Grimsby

Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 DOE

Axi Recruitment is thrilled to be working with a leading business in Grimsby to recruit a Human Resources Lead to join their business. Supporting the Head of HR and to work alongside an HR Administrator. As a Human Resources Lead you will be an integral member of the Management Team. You will work closely with Managers in supporting employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, training and development, health and wellbeing, and safety in the business.

Main Responsibilities include but are not limited:
• Employee Relations: Provide advice, guidance and support to line managers, assisting with the management of staff regarding disciplinaries and grievances, sickness etc.
• Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead and assist the HR Admin in recruiting for all roles across the business, adhering to agreed recruitment budgets.
• Health and Wellbeing: Work closely with the HR Admin and SLT to develop and implement annual employee engagement surveys, and organise engagement activities as a result of the survey feedback.
• Training and Development: Collaborate with the SLT on all necessary training activities/continuous development needs, supporting with appraisals on an annual and bi-yearly basis.
• Policies and Procedures: Develop, update and monitor policies and procedures in adherence to UK employment legislation.
• HR Reporting: Monitor key metrics and correspond with SLT on a monthly basis, highlighting any areas for improvement. Maintain an accurate record of documentation to ensure compliance.
• Payroll & Pension: Ensure employee pension contributions are submitted and oversee payroll, making sure this is accurately recorded in the system.
• Budgets: Monitor activity spend to ensure they align with set annual budgets.

Qualifications:
• Qualified to CIPD Level 5 or Level 7.

Experience:
• Previous experience in an HR Advisor/HR Generalist role is essential.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and experience handling employee relation matters.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all organisational levels.
• Great attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with business needs at the forefront.
• Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office.
