Responsibilities
• Works with designated departments to forecast hiring needs, develop recruitment strategies and ensure that positions are filled within targeted timeframes and budget
• Ensures that the work atmosphere fosters a productive environment for all employees and maintains the company culture
• Ensures that employment processes are followed and assist management in the development and implementation of recognition programs
• Delivers orientation to all new-hire employees
• Interprets and advises management on company HR policies and procedures.
• Extends employment offers, composes offer letters and moving agreements
• Leads Performance Review, Employee Development and Succession Planning efforts for Media Moments
• Spearhead the company branding in colleges and by organising speaker sessions for the directors as well as touching base with them for campus recruitments
• Makes compensation recommendations to management relative to promotions; inequities; and common-merit increases
• Monitors metrics relative to employee relations, employment and turnover. Develop and implement action plans to address areas of opportunity
• Develops appropriate training materials and for the delivery of training programs
• Communicates benefits, policy and other HR related changes
• Maintains accurate information in electronic and paper employee records
• Leads resolution of employee relations' issues and conducts investigations as necessary
Skills
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in an Agency background
• Effective coaching/consulting skills with a proven track record quickly gaining credibility and partnering collaboratively with business leaders
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Committed, resourceful, self- starter, adaptable and able to meet demands of a faced paced environment. Must drive to action, problem solve and results.
• Ability to influence outcomes specifically beyond the hierarchy of their role, through personal presence and confidence
• Being able to roll with the punches, deal with difficult personnel and be able to react quickly within a constantly changing environment. A 'can do' attitude. If plan A doesn't work, what is the plan B to get us there.
• Sense of humour and passion for HR a must
