Position: HR Manager
Reports to: CAO/CIO/SVP
Status: Full-time/ Exempt
Yearly Salary: $90K - $100K
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- include and are not limited to:
? Serve as the primary point of contact for HR strategy and departmental development.
? Lead the planning and execution of HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.
? Promote and model a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.
? Ensure compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES- include and are not limited to:
? Lead and oversee the HR team, including the HR Administrator, Benefits Administrator, Payroll Administrator, Employee
Relations Manager, and Recruiter, ensuring alignment with company goals and HR best practices.
? Provide strategic direction for core HR functions including employee engagement, workforce planning, organizational
development, and HR compliance.
? Coordinate and guide the work of direct reports, offering support, feedback, and development to ensure effective execution of
day-to-day HR operations.
? Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, advising on HR matters related to organizational structure, policy development,
talent strategy, and change management.
? Monitor and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations; update and interpret company policies and procedures
as needed.
? Support cross-functional HR initiatives such as succession planning, internal communications, and culture-building programs.
? Utilize HR data and metrics to make informed decisions, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement in HR practices and
employee experience.
? Serve as the escalation point for complex or sensitive HR issues that require higher-level input or decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS- include and are not limited to:
? Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required;
Master?s degree preferred.
? 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
? Experience overseeing or partnering closely with functions such as benefits, recruiting, and employee relations.
? Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
? Proven ability to build relationships, influence across levels, and drive people-focused initiatives.
? Proficient with HR systems and comfortable using data to guide decisions.
? [Preferred] HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
