About the job
The People Country Manager is responsible for the delivery of all People programs which drive business success through the people strategy aligned with the overall business strategy. This role acts as an advisor managing individuals or teams on people issues and problems both current and near term. The People Country Manager provides expertise in understanding the issues, giving analysis and recommendations, evaluating the solutions and consequences. This role works closely to adhere to local and corporate legal policies along with working to implement corporate or departmental initiatives.
What You Will Do
• Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Manages employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues and analyzes issues for trends and leads efforts to reduce employee relation issues for assigned portfolio
• Delivers and embeds all People programs and processes for assigned portfolio e.g. Onboarding, Offboarding, Performance Management etc.
• Acts as an advisor and coach to people managers on driving high performing teams
• Contributes to the design and implementation of organizational effectiveness with leaders and peer disciplines to achieve improved employee engagement
• Nurtures the SITA culture and a positive working environment
• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Who You Are
• 7+ years on all HR related disciplines with 5 to 6 years in a HR Business Partner role
• At least 5 years experience of interaction with senior management
• Experience working in complex international/multi-cultural and fast moving environment
• Fluent in English
• Bachelor's degree in business human resources organizational psychology or equivalent
• Member of professional HR association
