My client, a healthcare centre focused on providing holistic services to the aboroginal community of Pilbarra, is seeking a driven Human Resources Officer to join their team at their Roebourne facility.
Purpose: The role focuses on ensuring high standards of care at this holistic healthcare centre through effective management of human resources, meeting legal, organizational, and contractual obligations.
Skills, Experience, and Attributes:
HR qualifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
Experience in workplace drug & ******* testing is desirable.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Motivation for service excellence.
Basic understanding of HR management legal obligations.
Knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, and modern awards.
Effective problem-solving skills and strong communication abilities.
Capability to manage policies, identify situations needing CEO input, and prioritize tasks.
Commitment to professional development and quality assurance.
Duties:
Oversee HR functions: recruitment, staff credentialing, employee inquiries, and personnel files.
Manage staff induction and support compliance with Quality Improvement Council Standards.
Perform administrative tasks like managing compliance registers, leave records, and training logs.
Lead and support the HR Assistant in daily operations.
Ensure a professional work environment and contribute to organizational operations and research.
Requirements:
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people encouraged to apply.
Must hold a current driver's license, Working with Children Check, Police Clearance, and CPR Certificate (or be willing to obtain them).
Remuneration:
Base salary of $+0,000 - $120,000 plus allowances.
