Bluestone is a well-established, high yield tin producer with a strong resource base supporting a mine life in excess of 10 years. The Renison mine is located on Tasmania’s beautiful West Coast between the towns of Zeehan and Rosebery.

Renison is currently experiencing an exciting phase of development, characterised by a robust "Life of Mine Plan" and an ongoing commitment to capital reinvestment. This strategic approach is designed to enhance health, safety, environmental sustainability, and operational efficiency. Our mission is to be a sustainable, efficient, capable, disciplined, and respected tin producer, continuously striving for operational excellence and optimization.
About the role
An opportunity exists for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resource Administration Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality administrative support to the Human Resources function and contributes to the smooth operation of people-related processes across site.
This position is offered on 4 days on 3 days off residential or drive-in/drive-out roster.
Core responsibilities
Provide professional administrative support to the Human Resources team and other departments as required
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
Support recruitment and onboarding activities including coordinating interviews, reference checks, inductions, and accommodation bookings and other HR duties as required.
Assist with performance management processes and industrial relations matters
Contribute to continuous improvement of HR systems and procedures
About you
You are organised, discreet, and confident in managing a diverse range of administrative and HR-related tasks. Your ability to build and maintain positive working relationships is complemented by a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong work ethic with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You’ll have a collaborative, team-focused approach and be comfortable working independently when required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Pronto is desirable, and prior experience in end-to-end recruitment will be highly regarded.
