Due to the growth of the business, we are looking for a HR Specialist to work within a small, collaborative, fast-paced team in executing all aspects of HR by providing HR services and owning and co-ordinating HR processes.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Recruitment – Supporting the internal recruitment process for graduate and senior hires, including screening, interviewing, tracking, communicating with candidates and hiring managers, and producing management information
• Onboarding – Assist in the development and enhancement of the onboarding experience to ensure new hires are integrated effectively into the company culture and operations.
• Operations – Contribute to HR operations by supporting and identifying initiatives that enhance efficiency, improve employee experience, and align HR processes with broader organisational goals.
• Employment law – Provide support on employment law matters by staying informed of relevant legislation and ensuring HR practices comply with legal requirements. Assist in providing guidance to managers on compliance matters, and work alongside HR team in handling employee relations issues with a focus on compliance and best practices.
• Employee Relations – Serve as a resource to employees and managers on employee relations matters, helping to resolve issues and promote a positive workplace culture. Work in collaboration with leadership to support conflict resolution, performance management discussions, and foster a supportive and inclusive work environment.
• Learning and Development – Work alongside business leaders and the HR team to help identify training needs and support the implementation of employee development programs. Assist with the coordination of learning initiatives that align with the organization’s strategic objectives and promote continuous learning across the workforce.

There are often ad hoc requirements and change projects, and you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of HR work. Job requirements
• 4+ years’ experience in HR/recruitment or relevant transferable skills, preferably in a corporate environment
• Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to learn quickly and proactively take initiative and ownership of delivering tasks to agreed deadlines
• Detail focused with a desire to ensure high levels of accuracy. You will take pride in wanting to get into the detail, understand data and ensure that it is and remains accurate.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to analyse and visualise HR data and communicate key messages
• Analytical mindset, with a drive to create, follow, monitor and improve processes to work efficiently
• You need to be a problem solver and forward thinker – don’t just fix the immediate ask, but take ambiguous issues, break them down to understand the root cause, and then design a future-proof solution
• Clear and concise written communication skills for drafting letters, templates, updates and presentations tailored to your audience
• Friendly and approachable point of contact, whilst demonstrating the highest level of integrity with the ability to manage and process sensitive data
• Flexibility, reliability, willingness to ‘muck in’ and the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively and build strong working relationships at all levels of the organisation
• Collaborative, dependable, responsive team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative as you build trust
