Position Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day leadership and operational management of a high-volume residential HVAC service department
• Oversee scheduling, dispatch, and workload distribution to maximize technician efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor service technicians, with a strong focus on technical excellence and sales performance
• Coach and develop technicians on advanced diagnostics, new technologies, and effective customer communication
• Ensure superior customer experience through clear communication with homeowners, office staff, sales teams, and field personnel
• Monitor, analyze, and report on service department performance metrics
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all service calls and jobs in accordance with company standards
• Stay current on industry advancements, equipment innovations, and HVAC best practices
Candidate Qualifications
• 5+ years of residential HVAC experience; management or leadership experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and grow a team of HVAC service professionals
• Strong technical expertise in diagnosing and servicing residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including high-efficiency and inverter technology
• Demonstrated ability to train technicians in both technical diagnostics and consultative, sales-driven service approaches
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Strong computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Adobe, and service management software)
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to pass background screening and drug testing
• Physical capability to handle equipment and perform outdoor work as needed
• Positive attitude, high energy, customer-focused, and results-driven mindset
Compensation Transparency
• Estimated annual compensation range: $95,000–$125,000, depending on experience, skills, and market factors
• Additional compensation may include performance-based incentives and annual bonus opportunities
• Compensation decisions are made without consideration of salary history
