Responsibilities
• Responsible for representing and closing 15 to 20 properties/profit centers per month.
• Maintenance/update of the monthly property 'workbook' that codifies the month-end closing process.
• Accounts Payable: Verification that invoices are prepared in accordance with accounting procedures, correcting errors, questioning atypical expenses, and/or departures from established procedures.
• Responsible to upload information for annual budget templates and supporting Account Executives in the annual budgeting process.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree with a strong preference for a B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a STEM Degree (Math/Physics/Chemistry, etc.) with appropriate work experience acceptable to Accounting Team leadership.
• Yardi experience and deep EXCEL skills are a strong plus
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communications skills
• Detail-oriented, ability to show initiative and take responsibility
• Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
