We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced HYBRID Accountant to join our team. This exciting role will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where they will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting tasks. This position will require a combination of in-office and remote work, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.
Responsibilities
As a HYBRID Accountant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards.
• Conducting regular audits to ensure financial information accuracy.
• Managing account reconciliation and cash flow management.
• Performing variance analysis to identify and explain any discrepancies in the financial data.
• Preparing and posting journal entries as part of the monthly and yearly closing process.
• Assisting in the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Ensuring all accounting practices are in line with legal regulations and company policies.
• Collaborating with other departments to streamline accounting processes and procedures.
• Identifying opportunities for financial and operational improvements and implementing necessary changes.
• Preparing reports and presentations on financial status and forecast for management teams.
Qualifications
To be considered for the HYBRID Accountant position, candidates must possess the following qualifications
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial accounting, auditing, account reconciliation, cash flow management, variance analysis, journal entries, VAT, and IFRS reporting.
• An undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or similar professional accounting qualification is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS standards and the ability to apply them in a practical business setting.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
