About the job
In this role, you will:
Review technical reports and evaluate the hydrogeological impacts of proposed and existing activities on regional groundwater resources.
Design and conduct field investigations to assess environmental risks and compliance with health-based standards.
Give scientific advice in environmental response situations, such as spills and waste disposal, to ensure groundwater protection.
Prepare and present scientific reports to various partners, including ministry staff, municipalities, and the public.
Contribute to legal proceedings by providing specialist testimony and preparing legal documents related to groundwater management.
