Postdoctoral Fellowship Position in Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Image Analysis @ Coimbatore
Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the Postdoctoral Fellowship Position in Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Image Analysis at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore Campus.
Qualifications:
• Ph.D. in ECE / EEE / CSE / Remote Sensing / Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence / or related domains
• Strong background in hyperspectral data processing, image analysis, or machine learning
• Publication record in relevant domains is highly desirable
Job Description:
• We invite applications from passionate and qualified researchers for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Image Analysis.
• The selected candidate will work on cutting-edge research involving machine learning-driven analysis of hyperspectral data acquired via field instruments and satellite platforms.
• Responsibilities include:
• Hyperspectral image analysis using machine learning
• Ground-based hyperspectral data acquisition using FS-23 spectroradiometer + Tripod Hyperspectral setup
• Mapping and alignment with satellite-based hyperspectral imagery
• High-resolution environmental and agricultural monitoring
Duration: 1 year (extendable by one additional year based on performance and funding)
Responsibilities:
• Assist in research
• Publish high-impact papers
• Optionally support teaching or lab activities
