Job Description
The German International School Sydney (GISS) is currently seeking an experienced Science Teacher, preferably with IB experience, to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. The ability to teach Theory of Knowledge (TOK) is an advantage.

Demonstrated experience and effectiveness in teaching Science within the IB Diploma Programme
A flexible team player with an international, growth mindset who contributes positively and collaboratively to a multidisciplinary teaching team
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents/carers, and colleagues
Commitment to professional development through staff training, continuous school improvement initiatives, and other learning opportunities
Dedication to meeting the needs of a diverse student population in a bilingual, international, inclusive, and non-selective learning environment
Willingness to embrace and promote the school’s values, mission, and vision
This full-time permanent position is available from Term 2, 2026 (20 April 2026).
