Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IFS ERP Consultant with expertise in IFS metadata to assist the Head of Data and Analytics in understanding and utilizing the IFS metadata structure for an upcoming reporting project. This is a fully remote position, and the consultant will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our team can effectively navigate and interpret the IFS ERP system to deliver accurate and actionable insights.
The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of IFS ERP systems, particularly its metadata architecture, and experience in working with analytics and reporting teams to extract, structure, and utilize data for business intelligence purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Head of Data and Analytics to understand project goals and requirements related to IFS metadata for reporting.
Provide expert guidance on the structure, usage, and extraction of metadata from the IFS ERP system.
Assist in designing the data framework and mapping of metadata for seamless reporting and analytics processes.
Document the metadata structure and create guidelines for the data and analytics team.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to metadata extraction or reporting within the IFS system.
Offer best practices for metadata management, data integration, and system optimization to enhance reporting capabilities.
Support the team in developing custom reports or analytics solutions that leverage IFS data.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as an IFS ERP Consultant, with a strong focus on metadata and reporting.
In-depth understanding of IFS metadata architecture and its application to business intelligence and reporting.
Experience working with data and analytics teams to design reporting solutions within an ERP environment.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Familiarity with reporting tools and data extraction techniques.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with IFS-specific reporting or analytics projects.
Knowledge of other ERP systems and their metadata structures is a plus.
Familiarity with SQL, ETL processes, and data visualization tools.
