Job Summary:

We are a boutique Immigration Law firm experiencing significant growth, with offices in Houston and Richardson. We are currently seeking a dedicated, dependable, and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our Houston Office. This is an Onsite position in West Houston (77084) area.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in immigration law and procedure, be bilingual (English and Spanish), and possess excellent communication, research, and drafting skills. This role requires both independent work and collaboration with senior attorneys and legal staff to deliver exceptional service to our clients. The Associate Attorney will also assist clients with interview preparation and attend interviews as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Handle employment and family immigration cases, providing hands-on experience in all aspects of the process
• Advise clients on immigration options, eligibility requirements, and legal strategies tailored to their specific circumstances.
• Prepare, review, and file immigration petitions, applications, and related documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Represent clients in immigration court proceedings, administrative hearings, and interviews with government agencies.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to stay current on evolving immigration laws and policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases involving family reunification, employment-based visas, asylum, or deportation defense.
• Maintain meticulous case files and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements and deadlines
• Exceptional writing skills complemented by the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and professionally.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish Preferred

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Licensed and in good standing with Texas state bar

2+ years of experience practicing immigration law

Strong legal writing and document drafting skills

Proficiency in legal administrative processes and systems

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, especially with clients

Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is preferred

Compensation:

Competitive salary based on experience
